At Balmer Lawn we understand every wedding is unique and every couple has different ideas and requirements for their special day. This is why we offer packages to use a framework for you to build around your own style or you can create a completely bespoke option and design from scratch.

We provide a flexible approach to the planning and co-ordination of your day and with work with you to achieve the day you truly want!

Our wedding packages include:

  • Dedicated Wedding Executive to support you through your planning journey

  • Complimentary stay in our Luxury Honeymoon Suite on the night of your wedding

  • A Banqueting Manager to run your day supported by a first class team and can act as your Master of Ceremony throughout your day

  • Personalised place cards and table plan or use of our easel if you wish to provide your own

    ‘Everything But the Dress’ is ideal for couples looking to relieve the stress of sourcing individual wedding suppliers. Our trusted suppliers, such as Jo Hicks Flowers and The Pastry Corner, are passionate about delivering quality to ensure that your day is as special and personalised as it can possibly be. As part of the package, you’ll enjoy exclusive hire of the Beaulieu Suite, a three-course wedding breakfast, accommodation in our Honeymoon Suite, 8 hours of wedding photography and much more.

    Intimate

    If you and your loved one would love to marry at an enchanting wedding venue in the New Forest, look no further. Our ‘Just for the Two of Us’ package offers a truly intimate wedding ceremony - where just you and your loved one can tie the knot in complete privacy. We’ll provide two witnesses, access to one of our indoor wedding spaces, a Champagne afternoon tea for two, complimentary Honeymoon Suite and much more.

    Enchanted Forest

    Our magical Enchanted Forest wedding package combines luxury and warmth to create the perfect atmosphere for your big day.

    We have a range of impressive luxury spaces that are guaranteed to bring an essence of magic to your wedding, with comfortable, classic and contemporary rooms to celebrate in.

    This exclusive package includes a luxury three-course wedding breakfast, fizz & canapé reception, and dedicated toasting drinks, as well as evening catering and a Gin bar for guests to enjoy. Did we mention the evening entertainment is taken care of aswell with our DJ!

    We’re also inviting the happy couple to stay in our honeymoon suite on their wedding anniversary; the perfect way to celebrate their first year of marriage, whilst reliving the wonderful memories of their magical day.

    Twilight

    Looking to exchange vows under a beautiful sunset? Indulge in our night-time package at Balmer Lawn to enjoy a ceremony as the sun goes down. As part of this package, you’ll have the opportunity to be joined by 60 guests, in addition to exclusive use of the Beaulieu Suite, access to the lawn and garden for photography, hot fork buffet or BBQ, a DJ and much more.

    Our wedding day was perfect, thanks to The Balmer Lawn. From the months leading up to the wedding, right up until the morning after our wedding day, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding planner, Ruth, was so helpful and reassuring. She was there to support us the whole way through, and seemed to know exactly what we would need next without us even needing to ask (i.e. a sip of water just before i made that daunting walk down aisle!). It was the little touches :). All the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, not just to my wife and I, but also to all of our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic. All of our guests commented on how great the food was, and how hard the staff worked to ensure everything ran smoothly. And our Master of Ceremony was fabulous ! The staff at The Balmer Lawn worked so hard to make our wedding day one to remember, and we would definitely recommend having your wedding here.

    We’re just back from two nights in Amsterdam with friends and just talking about the most amazing day of our lives! Thank you, Slav and all of the team at Balmer Lawn for making our day so incredible- we just can’t believe how spectacular it was and all the love we had from so many people You are doing an amazing job and should be so proud at how you make peoples special day so incredible! We’ll be sending bigger emails soon to you and to and Chris and Alison – we felt so welcome and were treated in the most personal way. If we hadn’t had to have left early on Sunday morning we would have stayed to just tell everyone who came to the wedding showcase that there was nowhere else in the country to book their wedding than the Balmer Lawn Hotel.     You made our day the most incredible day we could have ever dreamed of! You made us feel so comfortable and relaxed from the day we booked with you right the way up to the wedding day. 

    The whole day was amazing for us. The venue is just perfect, the food was to die for and even all the small details it was more than we could have imagined. 

    Everyone complimented the food and said it’s been the best food they’ve eaten in a long time! 

    We just want to say that Lyndsey did an amazing job on the wedding day as well.

    Everything but the Dress

    This venue is just incredible- I would recommend it to anyone. From the moment we booked, Ruth and her team have been amazing. We got the Everything but the Dress package which meant we had no stress searching for suppliers. All of the suppliers were excellent and we got a perfectly tailor made day but with no stress. The communication in the lead up to the day was great- Ruth is very responsive to emails and so reassuring.

    The day itself was just incredible, the events staff were brilliant. Lindsey was our co-ordinator for the day and she was amazing- she was there from 10am till finish and everything was so organised. The whole day ran like clockwork and everyone was so lovely and friendly- but I could see how hard they worked. As a type A personality it's hard for me to relinquish control- but I really felt I could relax and didn't have to worry about a thing.

    I really can't put into words how great this place is- but I would recommend it to anyone.

    Cannot even describe what a good experience we had with Balmer Lawn. Our special day has exceeded all our expectations. We opted for the Everything but the dress package and I cannot recommend it enough. All the vendors involved have been amazing and so accommodating. Everyone put us first and nothing we asked for was too much. Ruth has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish, the kindest person we've met. Our families and friends are raving about the venue, vendors, staff and especially the food. Everyone at Balmer Lawn made us feel like royalty (especially our dogs who definitely stole the show).

    CSR FALCONRY

    Make your special day unique and memorable, adding a magic touch by having your wedding rings delivered by one of their Barn Owls. They will fly down the aisle to the gloved hand of the Best Man, safely delivering your rings. They will then fly back to the falconer and your ceremony will continue. Your special guest will then be available afterwards for photographs and to meet the rest of your wedding party.

The business is headed up by South Coast’s best student patisserie chef 2012, Alexandra Bishop.
