Haunted Halloween Party Activities in the New Forest
For something a little spooky this Halloween, drift along the eerie Beaulieu River on a moonlight river tour…
Sitting in an illuminated canoe, you’ll amble along the river for two hours with your own expert guide, listening to ghoulish tales as you sip on a delicious hot chocolate to get you in the spirit.
Priced at £36 for adults, and £24 for children under 16, this is the perfect family Halloween activity — and all participants will receive some Halloween treats to complete the experience!
Ghosts, Ghouls and Pumpkins | Halloween Party Activities
With a choice of Hazel Copse Farm or Hartford Woods, you can take part in some supernatural shooting.
Hazel Copse Farm and Hartford Woods are both offering a 90-minute Halloween archery session, from the 21st October to the 29th of October.
Adding a spooky twist to their usual archery settings, you’ll be aiming for a range of terrorising targets — such as werewolves, ghosts, ghouls and zombies!
With coaching from expert instructors, and all the equipment you’ll need, you can test your skills in this thrilling woodland setting. You’ll also have the chance to tap into your creative side and decorate your own pumpkin to blast away!
After your session, you’ll receive some tasty Halloween sweets for your participation.
Halloween at Calshot Castle
From the 27th until the 29th of October, Calshot Castle is welcoming families to join their spooktacular event.
Built by Henry VIII in 1539, you can bask in the history of Calshot Castle with their resident ghosts and ghouls.
Explore the spine-chilling trail (if you’re brave enough) or, sit back and listen to some creepy tales!
This event offers enjoyment for the whole family, allowing everyone to join in with themed games. The younger guests will also receive a spooky craft to cherish from the day.
To be in with the chance of winning a family ringo's adventure prize, wear your best halloween costume and take a selfie in the basement of the castle! You can enter Calshot’s competition by posting this to social media using the hashtag #creepycalshot.
Halloween Party Activities | Family Treasure Hunt
The infamous Red Beard of Beaulieu River has buried their treasure trove of treats along the river!
Take to the water in your own Canadian canoe in search of the hidden treats! Throughout this two hour guided tour, you’ll find a selection of delicious sweet treats — whilst enjoying the picturesque backdrop of the New Forest!
This family-friendly activity is suitable for all ages, and welcomes your furry friends to join you!
Beware of the Battlezone | Halloween Party Activities
Fight for survival during the New Forest BattleZone apocalypse!
With infra-red technology guns, you can crawl, hide, and trail your way through a Halloween wonderland.
Qualified instructors will coach you through a 2 hour session of interactive warfare, set with mysterious games and spell-binding scenarios. You’ll receive unlimited ammunition and life spawning, to ensure the fun doesn’t end too soon!
Equipped with a variety of full-size weapons, this activity is suitable for all ages. You can find this adventure between 4pm - 6pm, from the 21st to the 29th October 2023.
