The Hampshire Food Festival, organised by Hampshire Fare, has been promoting local food and drink for over 30 years.
One of the highlights on the summer calendar, the food festival places Hampshire on the map, establishing its status as the ultimate foodie destination.
This must-visit Hampshire event offers farmers, makers, producers and growers the opportunity to showcase their exceptional produce. They can also engage with locals through events, tours, tastings, chef demos, markets, menus pop-ups, workshops and more!

At Balmer Lawn Hotel, we recognise the importance of supporting local initiatives and highlighting the richness of Hampshire’s food offerings.
By participating in local Hampshire events such as the upcoming food festival, we aim to contribute to the vibrant food culture of the region, whilst also offering a delightful experience to festival attendees.
Alongside our executive chef hosting an exclusive cooking feature, we’re also organising a weekend of food, drink and music here at our luxury hotel.

We’re delighted to share that our executive chef, Andrew Gault, will be leading a cooking demonstration on Sunday 2nd July at 1:30pm.
Joining a stellar lineup of accomplished local chefs and producers, he represents the remarkable culinary talent that thrives in our region.
With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years, Andrew has honed his culinary expertise in renowned kitchens across the globe; from Dubai to England’s south coast, and France to Scotland’s golf resorts.
Today, as our accomplished executive chef at Balmer Lawn Hotel, he delights in curating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Using the finest high-quality ingredients, he ensures that every dish showcases the utmost quality and flavour.

Our involvement in the Hampshire Food Festival doesn’t end there!
From 1st-2nd July, we’ll be hosting a weekend of food, drink and music here at Balmer Lawn Hotel & Spa. The event will comprise a locally-produced food menu, delicious cocktails and our own-brewed beer.
Blending laid-back vibes with the latest beats, our live DJ set will be taking place on the evening of Saturday 1st. With a buzzing atmosphere, mouth-watering food, and drinks made by our talented bartenders, we guarantee a night of summer fun.
On Sunday 2nd July, we’ll be welcoming an afternoon performance from the incredibly talented Charley Stride. Specialising in Soul/Pop/RnB classics, Charley will be performing an acoustic set that will leave you mesmerised.
