At Balmer Lawn Hotel, we’re surrounded by acres of New Forest woodland and an abundance of beautiful wildlife.
This month, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been named as a national finalist in the prestigious Guide for Brides Customer Service Awards 2022!
As a finalist of the Large Wedding Venue category, we’ll be coming up against some of the UK’s most elite wedding destinations to win the coveted title.
Wedding in the Woods: Our Magical Venue in the New Forest
It’s an honour to be recognised for our hard work and dedication to each wedding journey, from start to finish. We’re passionate about working with prospective couples to create a wedding day that’s magical and truly unforgettable. Combining beautiful countryside views with bright, flexible indoor spaces, our venue can be easily adapted to suit a wide range of requirements and preferences - whether that’s a romantic indoor celebration or a magical wedding in the woods.
Ruth Mundy, our wonderful wedding coordinator, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be named as finalists in the Guide for Brides Customer Service Awards 2022.
“We pride ourselves on our customer service here at the hotel, especially for weddings. We go above and beyond to ensure all wedding parties are treated to an experience of only the highest standards. Respect, quality and everlasting memories are what our happy couples can expect upon their visit to our luxury New Forest escape.”
Those who exchange vows with us can enjoy a choice of bespoke wedding packages, which include access to our picturesque grounds, accommodation in a complimentary honeymoon suite and several dining options, including a hog roast and BBQ.
Guides for Brides: Recognising Excellence in the Wedding Industry
The Customer Service Awards 2022 is run by Guides for Brides and aims to recognise excellence in wedding destinations across the UK. Finalists are hand-picked for their ability to provide exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Ruth added: “We cater for bespoke weddings of up to 140 guests for both ceremony and wedding breakfast and an additional 110 in the evening, across a number of beautiful function rooms and outdoor spaces. It’s a great feeling to be recognised once again for our stellar customer service - it really is a testament to the hard work the team put in each and every day.”
We’re also proud to have launched a wedding package called ‘Everything But the Dress’, which includes a list of preferred suppliers as well as all of the typical food and venue requirements.
“This popular package takes into consideration the needs of our brides and grooms, helping to take some of the hard decisions out of their hands by using our trusted suppliers,” Ruth added.
The overall winners of the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards 2022 will be announced at a glitzy awards ceremony at the historic Oxford Town Hall, on Wednesday 9th March.
